CRM-- I Was Lost, But Now I'm Found

Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it-- CRM Software is the best tool anyone in sales can possibly use. I have things to back that up with that I will mention later. But, keep that in mind.

If you are anything like me a few weeks ago, you had heard of a CRM, but never really explored them. Or maybe you are someone who has been using one for a while, in which case this article is a huge pat on the back to you because that is a very smart thing to do. On the other hand, maybe you have no idea what I'm talking about? If that is the case, let me open your eyes.

A CRM, also known as Customer Relationship Managers, is a tool that you can use to do just that... it helps you manage your customer relationships. HOWEVER, the software does so much more. These gifts from heaven allow you to track your clients, deals, emails, sales numbers, businesses that you have worked with-- the list goes on and on and on. Basically, though, CRM softwares connect all the dots for you. When was the last time you emailed Jane? CRM can tell you. Last time you had a call with John? CRM has that, too. Depending on what you pay for, you can sync calendars, organize and schedule drip campaigns, track who to call when, set up template emails, keep your database organized, track what marketing sources are getting you what types of attention, keep your team organized, etc.

Now, I admit that they can get a bit pricey. If you are looking at Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite (just to name a few popular choices), you might even be looking at several thousand dollars a year. However, I have discovered a gem called Hub Spot that offers you a full-functioning CRM for free. And, for the record, no they aren't paying me to say this. It is just how much I like it. Now you don't get a lot of the uber special features, but if you are looking for a basic model to manage yourself and personal clients, it is amazing. And, if eventually you do have the want/need to upgrade, HubSpot offers you that option too.

Regardless of what you choose to use, they are an amazing product that is definitely worth checking out, if you haven't already.
